Amal Clooney
Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a British/Lebanese lawyer, human rights advocate and charitable philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University School of Law as well as New York University School of Law has achieved international recognition in her professional career and for her achievements within the field of international human rights law. Her prominent clients included national states such as Armenia who were fighting to recognize the Armenian Genocide in Turkey. Amal Clooney became engaged to and then married American actor George Clooney in 2014 instantly becoming a well-known name in popular entertainment. The actress was widely known and admired for her ability to represent clients effectively and with a wealth of experience within the legal profession years before. The scope of her work spans from dealing with human rights and justice concerns to representing multinational corporations in their discussions and court proceedings concerning government regulations. In 2015, she's a barrister one type of legal representative in British courts at London-based Doughty Street Chambers.
