Alexandra Maria Lara is a Romanian German film and TV actress best known for her performances in films like Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. She was the sole child of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu, Alexandra started her showbiz career at an early age. At the age of 16, she reached the age of 16, Alexandra had landed prominent roles in a variety of TV dramas. Her critically acclaimed performance in the television film Der Tunnel paved way for other notable roles including the role of Adolf Hitler's secretary Traudl Junge, in the commercially and critically profitable Oscar nominated war-time drama film Downfall. The Reader is another Oscar nominated film that features this stunning actress. Alexandra has been involved in numerous important international and national projects through the years. These projects comprise British biographical films, the British Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time French Historical Miniseries Napoleon and many more. She also remained member of the jury of the Cannes Film Festival and the Transylvania International Film Festival.
